The Distribution Center incorporated by Goodman in Betim was developed on the Built to Suit (BTS) system for retail giant Walmart. The project, which aims to supply the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro and the Federal District, is the first Distribution Center in the network to be eco-efficient and located in Minas Gerais.
The work, completed in 2017, had its projects developed specifically to meet the needs of the Walmart chain’s operations. With its 62 docks, the DC has the capacity to receive 158 trucks and store and move 28,000 product pallets in an automated and systematic way.
