The Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at Viracopos airport is Azul’s largest maintenance center in Latin America, and the company’s first in the interior of São Paulo.
The development, which has an area of around 35,000 m², is capable of housing eight Airbus A32 (A320neo/A321neo) aircraft at the same time, or two Airbus A330ceo/neo. The Hangar is intended for heavy aircraft maintenance, as well as repairs and inspection of fleets. The project was developed in the design-build system in which the construction company is responsible for the development of projects and construction.
