BASF, a giant in the chemical sector, had the construction of its Sodium Methoxide Plant and Boiler completed in 2011. The unit is located on the same site as the Stacker Crane, in the city of Guaratinguetá-SP. With a production capacity of 60 thousand tons per year, this is BASF’s second Sodium Methoxide plant in the world and the first in South America.
